Publisher Description
For all Members of the BSA, The Scoutmaster’s Minute is brief in duration but one of the most important parts of a Boy Scout troop meeting. Occurring at the closing of the meeting, it is the thought that will go home with the scouts. It is the time to teach one of the ideals of Scouting. The Scoutmaster’s Minute is a special time when you have the attention of all the boys in the troop, and it is your opportunity to convey a special message of inspiration. Many of the Scoutmaster’s Minutes listed below are parables, short stories about everyday people and occurrences that illustrate a moral attitude or religious principle.
This Application is bursting with stories, parables, object lessons and anecdotes. I have complied more than 250 lessons that coincide with the scout Oath, Scout Law, Slogan and Motto. With better than 150 famous quotes on such subjects as character, goal setting, and overcoming adversity you will never be at a loss for words with your boys. Finally, to top it off I added better than 300 of Aesop’s more famous fables.
There is enough information in this application alone to keep yo wisely advising your boy scouts for the next four years or more!
I also have a special section that is a sort of Chicken Soup for the Tired Scoutmaster's soul Called Notes.
